Joyce Kaye Gann, age 72 of Sumiton, passed away January 30, 2022. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Rose Alford; father-in-law; Thomas Carlton Gann; mother-in-law, Nancy Claudine Gann; sister, Caroland Wiley Robinson, sister-in-law, Nancy Jo Campbell and brother-in-law, Dennis Charles Campbell. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Roger Gann; children Jennifer Martin (Wayne) and Jerimy Gann (Brenda); grandchildren, Rylee Martin, McKinley Gann and Baylen Gann; sister, Sharon Stone (Jerry); brothers-in-law, Jerry Gann (Bess) and Danny Gann (Jeannie) sister-in-law, Brenda “Sis” Gann as well as a host of nieces and nephews along with many other family and friends who loved her dearly. Words cannot describe the pain of losing such a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Joyce was an angel. To know Joyce was to know her heart and to know how much love she had and freely gave to everyone she came in contact with. She was the most selfless woman you would ever meet. We know Joyce is dancing and rejoicing in heaven. We know this is not goodbye save a place for us we know we will see you soon. We love you so much, we are so thankful for you, our angel. Funeral services for Joyce will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home, February 2, 2022 at 2pm. The family will receive guest for one hour prior to service time. Rev. Lane Sargent officiating.
