Georgia L. Collins, age 37 of Jasper, passed away June 7, 2022. Georgia was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed time with her family and helping others. Georgia enjoyed hard rock music, fishing, camping and spending time with her son. She was an animal lover. Georgia was a very loving and compassionate person who will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Ozella Nixon. Georgia is survived by her son, Carlos Aaron; mother Zelda Orrell; grandmother, Lacine Collins; brother, Casey Perkins; step-father, Bruce Perkins; step-brother, Jeremy Perkins as well as many other extended family members and loved ones. Services will be held in the New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home chapel on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 2pm. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Dr. Sammie Reid officiating.
